Additional Info C/M/209 (29/05/1987) Minutes of Council Meeting (14/05/1987) The Council took note of the "US statement confirming that the measure had been intended to benefit some US companies, but that it was no longer in effect and that the United States did not envisage that it would be revived. In view of the US statement, the Community representative had indicated that he would not insist on the establishment of a panel at the present stage, in the expectation that a panel would be promptly established should this measure be revived."
